Ordination
Held 4 times yearly with a set of 7 – 12 monks each, the ordination is set twice before the Buddhist Lent with the other two at the beginning and after the Lent.
The ordination date and the number of new monks will be determined from lodging availability, preceptors, and teachers.
As the aim of ordination is self development through study and practice, the period in a monkhood should be at least one month off the time of Buddhist Lent, or 4 months during the Lent.
The filled ordination form will be considered by the Sangkha, and the candidates will be notified later for an interview appointment before ordination approval.
